Mahi Tahi Media was born while eating dim sims and dumplings at our favourite yum char restaurant.

Co-founders Te Arahi Maipi and Peter Tainui were chewing the fat over where the media industry was heading. By the time the last pork bun was eaten they decided to combine their 40 years of media experience and form a brand new media company which embraces good old fashioned know how and experience with innovative thinking.

On the way home Te Arahi called his wife Jade to join the team. She is also a content creator of digital and television programming.

Finance expert Richard Chew joined us early 2018 as our Non-Executive Director on our Board. Richard brings over a decade of experience in media, advertising, music, entertainment, cloud technology, health, wellness and fitness industries.​
